Osteopathy

What is it?

Osteopathy is a form of complimentary medicine that applies hands on treatment to the musculoskeletal system.

What we do

Osteopaths look for areas of restriction, tightness and tension and dysfunction throughout the musculoskeletal system and apply a wide variety of treatment techniques. Furthermore, we can provide a comprehensive management plan for injuries which includes prescription of lifestyle modifications and a variety of self- management strategies including stretching and exercise intervention such as pilates and strength and conditioning. 

Treatment Techniques

Soft tissue massage, articulatory or mobilisation techniques, muscle energy techniques, dry needling, counter strain, joint manipulation and taping.
