What is it?
HIIT stands for High Intensity Interval Training - the aim in this class is to challenge your whole body through short bouts of intensive exercise. In these classes we combine cardio exercises, strength and resistance and body weight activities.
The benefits of HIIT training include improvement in mitochondrial functioning (these are your cells that create energy), and an increase in both carbohydrate and fat metabolism. On top of this strength and conditioning training is proven to reduce pain and increase general functioning.
