Workplace and
work from home  assessments

What is it?

An ergonomic consult involves an assessment of an employee at their desk to ensure optimal work station set up. This can be either an employee’s desk at work or their work from home set up.

Whether they are sitting or standing, our Osteopaths can assist the worker by providing them with educational advice and ideas to use at their desk, which can assist with preventing musculoskeletal complaints.

Our osteopaths go one on one with the designated worker and help them set up their desk, while providing the business with suitable replacements for potentially unsuitable equipment.

Benefits of ergonomic assessments for the  business

  • Meet occupational health and safety/workplace health safety requirements.
  • Identify and eliminate any potential risks within the workplace.
  • Increase worker comfort and productivity.
  • Healthier and happier employees.

Benefits for employee

  • Enhanced productivity.
  • Can decrease the likelihood of aches and pains or injury
  • An assessment of the individuals needs in the workplace.
