Clinical Exercise Scientist

 Tiaan is a personal trainer at Keep Active Osteopathy who works with clients individually, in small groups as well as taking ICE classes. Tiaan has been working in the Health and Fitness industry since 2011 in both Melbourne and the Goulburn Valley region.

Tiaan started with Keep Active in 2019 whilst also working for a Commonwealth Government Initiative in a population health promotion role, addressing the needs of the community from a public/ population health perspective.

Tiaan loves the social interaction exercise brings, seeing all aspects of individual’s health improve and finds the human body and its functional capabilities and adaptation processes extremely fascinating!

Outside of work, Tiaan enjoys spending time outside, cooking, travelling and with family and friends. 

Post Qualification Studies:
  • Bachelor of Exercise Science and Human Movement (Clinical Stream)
  • Master of Public Health
  • Certificate III and IV in Fitness
  • Level 2 Exercise Professional with Fitness Australia: Business Development; Group Exercise Pre-Choreographed; Strength and Conditioning; Older Adults; Nutrition Support/ Body Composition and Core Strength & Stability / Pilates Fundamentals and Reformer
  • Les Mills Group Fitness Management
  • Creative Exercises for Older Adults
  • Nutrition Psychology: Food Choice and Eating Habits
  • Fitness Pilates – Reformer
