What is it? |
STRENGTH PILATES:
Strength Pilates combines elements of Mat Pilates, Reformer Pilates and Strength & Conditioning classes. This class integrates the use of reformer machines, dumbells, cables and resistance bands to focus on the development of strength, mobility and . This class integrates a range of different movement patterns and postures to combine traditional resistance training with the principles of Pilates. Pilates experience is recommended but not required. OPEN REFORMER: A supervised, open session where you can use our reformers to do your own program at your own pace. Before beginning these sessions, participants must have a consultation with one of our instructor’s to be inducted and create a program or oversee an existing program you may have. |
How it runs: |
The program runs in blocks coinciding with school terms, individuals may sign up for the whole block, flexible sessions or attend casually (places will be prioritised to those committing to the whole term). Strength Pilates classes are suitable for those with experience in pilates and each session runs for 45 minutes. Open Reformer is suitable for all levels and each session runs for 30 mins. An initial consultation may be required with one of instructors before attending open reformer sessions.
